Workable (But Risky) Options
1.Roast Coffee Beans
How: Spread raw coffee beans thinly in the chamber.
Risk: Beans smoke heavily at 200°C+. Must watch nonstop + use outdoors/strong vent.
Result: Uneven roast, but usable for espresso.


2.Toast Spices & Seeds
Examples: Cumin, sesame, pumpkin seeds.
Trick: No oil, low quantities, shake constantly (if no stirrer).
Stop When: Aroma releases (≈45 sec). Overdo = bitter ash.


3.Dehydrate Herbs
Best For: Leafy herbs (basil, mint).
Method: Run without oil at low heat, leaves spread loosely.
Caution: Woody herbs (rosemary) won’t dry evenly.

4.Trying to "Bake" Nuts
Why Fail: Almonds/walnuts release oils that pool → smoke → burn onto heating plate.
Aftermath: Permanent rancid smell.
